Makai Past And Present

The evolution of Makai's look from teenager to adult

The first form is his Suppressed Form, that gives him a more gentle appearance (human appearance in any other media outside of Sonic) a form he uses to blend in with human society. In the beginning, he word a white vest and gray pants with matching shoes to sorta counter with his mostly black fur. His hair wasn't tamed as it is now and his yellow eyes were far more pale and lifeless. Currently, Makai sports a matching gray jacket and red shirt that can stretch and extend with his further transformations but prefers removing them in intense battles so he doesn't have to keep buying new clothes. Also he no longer wears shoes for the same reasons stated before.


The second form is his original and True Form, the form he was born naturally in which is known as his Lycan Form. Before it was called "Werewolf Form" but with his age, he's gained mastery over his ability to transform, easily and limitlessly able to switch back and forth between forms instantly and even gaining the ability to partially transform his body for surprise attacks. Before, his hair was spiky but mostly trailed down his body, now its slightly shorter but with a slightly more feral look to it. Makai has also grown much more comfortable with the idea of being himself at this point and spends most of his time in this form around friends, family and while traveling rather than using his Suppressed Form to fit in with the crowd.


The Third form is his Mutated Form which was called his Netheran Form before. This form is actually Makai tapping into the bulk of his Netheran energy and the form is his Lycan Form mutating and changing to compensate for the change and increase in power he's using, becoming slightly larger, much more dense and causing his fur to stand on edge. While a teenager, I gave him an much more feral look to his design which gave him hulking muscles, wildly spiky hair and pure black sclera with red irises. Now (somewhat in part due to Rio's influence) as an adult, his hair is much more tamed then it was before, giving him nearly the same look as Yami Marik from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. His eyes no longer change color, maintaining blood red secrtas but his pupils now dilate, giving him black on red eyes now. However, if angered past the point of reason, his eyes will change back to the same way they were when he was a teenager.



The fourth Form is his Nethran Form, which was called his Cerberus Form where Makai gains increase in muscle and body mass, gains horns and obviously, 2 extra heads and tails and his white fur changes to a dark mud brown. This form is Makai channeling his complete Netheran energy while suppressing all others in his body, gaining this monstrous form in the process. Firstly, glad no one tried to draw this form because trying to get the proportions just right is something I fear only I or an extremely talented and patient person could. But this form, as an adult is no longer truly used by Makai anymore as he has no need for it. If used, its due to him succumbing to his Netheran power due to rage.


The Firth Form is his Angel Form which he gained access to by combining powers with Aerthina. During this form, he gained an explosive increase in power that nearly surpassed all his other forms but its draw back kept Makai from using it frequently. In this form, Makai could summon energy blades which are controlled physically and telekinetically as well. 

The form under his Angel Form is Makai's True Lycan Form but after being trained by his Nephilim army (Yes he gains command over an army of Nephilims by this point) Makai learned to channel most of his different energies at once to achieve drastic and explosive results as Makai is part werewolf, a hybrid descendant of Humans breeding with Demons giving him both properties, part Netheran and after gaining his own Angelic energies due to the constant fusions with Aerthina, he's learn to use those different energies at once to combat extremely powerful foes. Despite this, Makai still cannot combine the 4 Energies together into one, forcing him to channel the energies separately but while channeling his Angelic energies, he gains the ability to summon an unlimited amount of energies blades depending on his energy reserves and can sprout and retract black angel wings in a fraction of a second, giving him the ability to fly. He also gains a large halo on his back, testament to how great his overall angelic powers are and can tap into Amaterasu's power at will after the two fuse together, further increasing his power to greater heights but rarely does so. While using this power, he's taken to being called "Theos Makai"

Also Makai's Third Eye can be called upon in any of these forms at anytime despite being only shown in a few. The eye itself grants him extended powers as well and can only be closed by the wielder. It feels no pain and is almost sentient as it will open and act on its own to protect and save its owner.
